How do you become an Electrical Engineer?
To become an electrical engineer there's more than just getting a Bachelor's in electrical engineering. After you get your Bachelor's you need to get you should try and go for masters so you have more opportunities for job positions. You will need to get an engineering license too, and to do that you need to have prior experience in electrical engineering. After you get your license you can advance in your career and take on supervisory and management positions.

Wages / Schooling
To become an electrical engineer you must have a Bachelor's degree which means going to college for 4 years. Typically you need prior experience like internships or being involved in other electrical engineering programs. On average electrical make $97,970 to $102,180 a year. They get paid up to $47.00 hourly. I think the payment and schooling is worth it if you are very passionate in electrical engineering. In my opinion it is worth the effort to become an electrical engineer and make good money while doing so.

What Do They Do / What is Electrical Engineering?
Electrical Engineering is the study of applying electricity.
Electrical Engineers design and develop electrical devices and equipment. They are the people responsible for making the devices we use everyday, our cellphones. They usually work in an office, but if the equipment they design fails they may have to go out and repair it. There are many different categories of Electrical Engineering. There's electronics, digital computers, computer engineering, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, radio-frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation, and microelectronics. Electrical Engineers are also responsible for repairing overhead power lines as seen below.
